I love simple dessert ideas, especially when they are chocolaty and crispy.
Here is my recipe for crispy chocolate bars, prepared with Kellogg’s krispies, but of course you may use other kind, if you prefer.
200 grams Kellogg’s choco krispies
110 grams chocolate (milk or dark)
100 grams corn syrup
50 grams butter
Add the choco krispies in a large bowl.
In a small saucepan melt the butter, chocolate and corn syrup.
Let it cool to room temperature, as you stir often. Mix the chocolate mixture with the krispies.
Line a deeper baling dish with parchment paper and pour the mixture in the dish.
Cover tightly with plastic wrap and put in the fridge for a couple of hours.
Cut into small bars and enjoy for breakfast or dessert.
