There are many recipes and options for home made candy….you could add whatever alcohol you want, different types of nuts, chocolate, cream, coconut or fruits. Every time I decide to prepare home made candy I am in dilemma, cause I want to add everything I have on hand, but sometimes the less ingredients – the better the taste is.
Today i want to share a simple recipe with 5 ingredients! I guarantee that the taste of this candy is just perfect and addictive. I prepared this recipe a couple of weeks for my birthday, I wanted to surprise my colleagues at the office with something home-made, and yes, I know I am spoiling them, but they are the greatest colleagues anyone could ever want… I can’t help but surprise them every now and then with something sweet!
Since Valentine’s Day is coming up, I thought that this is the perfect time to share this recipe.
400 grams finely crushed biscuits (graham cracker crumbs)
1 table spoon cocoa powder
1 table spoon powdered sugar
1 tin condensed milк
125 grams butter
Chocolate for dipping (melted in a double broiler)
Put the biscuits in a large bowl. Add the cocoa powder and sugar.
Put the butter and condensed milk in a pan over a low heat, until the butter melts. Allow to cool slightly. Add the baileys if you want.
Add the milk and butter to the biscuits and mix well.
Place in the fridge for an hour.
Remove from the fridge and shape into small balls.
You can dip the small balls in melted chocolate, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, coconut flakes or crushed nuts.
